Description}: Pay What you want ART Commissions! So I have a pretty bad emergency. TLDR version: My cat got attacked by a dog and I Desperately need help paying vet bills. Long Version: I won a trip to go on a cool vacation a few years ago. Never got to really go had to save up money and scrounged very hard for over 2 years. This Past week we were FINALLY able to go. We had to drive over 200 miles to get there. First night there I get a call from home telling me that my sweetest cat Scarlet was attacked by a Pit Bull. Scarlet is the sweetest cat you would ever meet. She doesn't have room in her heart for hate. She's always nice to every one even strangers who come to visit and she's nice to all the other animals cats or dogs. She's a very old cat about 13 years. I raised her since she was an orphaned kitten abandoned on the side of the road, I bottle fed this cat. She is by far the sweetest kitty we have and I was devastated by the news. I didn't get much of a chance to sleep the prior night only really about an hour because I was trying to help a friend who was stressed out about an emotional wound. So I was pretty distraught and made my self sick over the news. I couldn't really sleep that night either so we paid the vet bill with everything we had in the bank. I have recipes if any one wants to see them. So through out our 'vacation' we were worried sick and we couldn't really do anything because well we had no funds any more to do anything with. We just ended up staying in the cabin. Cried every night. We have spent a lot of money trying to save Scarlet's life. I apologize for my extended absence I have been trying to nurse her since I got her from the vet's. She doesn't want to eat so it's very hard to get her to eat. She had no broken bones but she has a torn ligament. SO FAR, our vet bills are at 3k. that's $3,000 USD. If her leg does not heal in a few weeks she may need surgery or need to get it amputated. I'm really against the idea of amputation because animals can not talk to us. Vets are very quick to amputate in these days because for them its a quick procedure. We do not wish to put an older cat like Scarlett through surgery and are doing everything we can to se ethat she eats , gets her meds and rests. Please help me save this kitten. She doesn't deserve what was done to her and I feel really bad that I wasn't here to do more for her when it happened. I am currently trying to seek out the owner of the dog who attacked her. I'm trying to earn money to help out with the vet bills and the mortgage because now we're worried we wont have money to pay when it's time. This is the best thing I can think of is to open emergency commissions. Pay me what you want and tell me what you want and I'll do what I can for the amount you pay me.
