I liked the idea of a girl who actually doesn't mind in the slightest: Spanking was yesterday, today is the time to have fun! So what if people see! It's only natural for a healthy, growing girl to sometimes have spank marks, right? She runs cheerfully ahead of her friends, as if not even realizing how red her bottom still is. I imagine her going "ouch!" and laughing brightly after sitting on the hot sand too carelessly. (The title means her smile. Really.)
