Description}: So I've been watching the Spartacus TV show, Blood and Sand, recently. While I can't say its all that great, it did at least inspire me to do some roman arena like drawings. Although this fantasy version of Rome is much more gentle than the real world counterpart. The red the plebs want to see in the arena is not the red of blood spilled in the sand, but the red of bottom cheeks thrashed for the crowds amusement. These gladiatrices aim to overpower their opponents, tie them up and then give the people a show, and the loser a spanking they won't soon forget.
