About 10 years he tried to reform his lands and make people happy. Lost most of his battle skills. Oleem, 21 year. Granddaughter of Felia, powerful Devia witch. Posess great mystical powers. Mighty sorceress, able to charm people (especially men). Ambitious yet unskilled ruler. - (How does "3rd conflict" started?) - Once king brought reforms and made people happy, he looked at world map... And saw terra incognita - to the east, over the Darnitz village and great mountains pass. Verlanze's father, dead patriarch, fought devia witches there 30 years ago. King decided to send (armed) diplomatic mission to nowhere... And he did it. Many ambassadors were sent. Some came back - with no news and mentally broken. Strong glorious warriors smiled like idiots and mumbled noncence. Zombified? Cursed? Poisoned? Verlanze wanted to know what the hell happens, so he went over the mountains. And saw a great flourishing kingdom. There were giant fields of golden wheat, green whispering gardens, flowers... and MANY beautiful young girls... ...no, it's not heaven... Every new step into Devia territory cost King a soldier. One by one, Verlanze's men were charmed by pretty witches - threw away weapons and swore to serve new mistresses forever. In the end, only king left, he had a will of iron and a mission to complete. His way - straight to the highest building on the horizon. That must be palace! King won't stop until he got there and meet the ruler of the land. There were some "men" around. Servants. Charmed, mindless workers, ready to do everything to... feel the kiss. Girl's... kiss! to hear whisper... smell...of her hair... touch... soft lips... aw, see her gesture... so pure... an... an angel! she's an..? ...does my mind fail me?... NO! Verlanze nearly fell to charms. The closer he came to palace, the harder his inner battle was. How could glorious ruler become a slave to a woman!? NEVER! Barely alive, shaking, he got to magnificent building in the Devia's center. None stopped him entering the throne room. He saw a beautiful girl in expensive dress. She looked at suffering king with a smile. She was waiting for him. "I am Oleem, princess of Devia..." Oleem...Oleeeeem...Oleeeeeemmm... King's in a sweet torture, ready to fell on his knees. Last part of him tried to oppose charms."Aw, you have a sword... a warrior king..." <laughter> Woooorriorkiiiiin'... Awwaaaario'... "None with sword can defeat us. Didn't your father tell you?" Sword... Father..?"Men... Soon all of you will..." Sword... SWORD! With last bit of his strenght, Verlanze unsheathed his razor sharp sword. He remembered one old warrior skill. The only way to escape was... King tried to make a swift move with sword... Slash! Blood. It's running red. King cut a piece of flesh from... his own hand. <SCREAM OF PAIN, SCREEEEEAAAAM> Princess' face covered with blood. She's in terror. King cries loud and bleeding... but he's not a puppet anymore. Pain brought his mind back. And he makes THE right decision. Running. Niegarath ruler is running. His blood is running after him. Someone pursuits Verlanze... Sight is blurry. No chance to reach the Kingdom... River - the last try to escape. No time to make a boat... he just falls on the water and wild stream pushes him... somewhere... away... ... Briefly... Verlanze survived. He returned to Niegarath one month later. Barely alive, cold and mentally broken. Best apotecariie were healing him for one year. So... he survived. How does he felt? Ashamed. The great warrior and ruler was defeated... by pretty women. And his best officers now serve as slaves to the enemy. So... king declared a war. Devia Kingdom shall fall... - (Why spanking implements?) - King found schemes of "Holy weapons" in old cardinal's manuscripts. Those were used in "First brave war" to clean the souls of posessed witches. Spanking as soul purification... Verlanze smiled. Anyway, how could brave warriors spill female blood?
